Fudge Brownies: The fudgiest brownies you’ll ever eat!

In Switzerland, usually brownies are a bit more like cake and contain nuts, however, ever since I tasted fudge brownies in the States, I have become obsessed with creating my own version of them, so here we are: melt in your mouth Fudge Brownies! Danger of addiction guaranteed!

Ingredients (33 x 23 cm baking tray):
250g butter
500g sugar
40g cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 sachet vanilla sugar
4 eggs
180g flour
450g dark chocolate

Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 180°. Melt the butter and mix with the sugar until combined. Add the eggs and continue to mix. Melt half of the chocolate and add. Add the dry ingredients (cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, vanilla sugar, flour) and fold in. Chop the other half of the chocolate into small pieces and fold into the mixture.
Line the baking tin with baking paper and spread the mixture evenly. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes. Remove, let completely cool in the fridge, carefully cut into pieces – and enjoy!

Tip: Since the brownies can become very soft when they get too warm, leftovers should always be kept in the refrigerator. The brownies can also be portioned and frozen. Before eating, simply take them out about 6-8 hours before and defrost them in the refrigerator.
