If you love dark chocolate s much as me, you will absolutely love these little tartelettes! And they are actually quite quick and easy to make, especially if you use store bought dough.
Ingredients:
Tarte Shells
For the tarte shells, either with homemade or with storebought dough, see the recipe for the Lemon Curd Tartelettes,
Filling
120g of dark chocolate
110ml of cream (semi or heavy)
35g of butter
Preparation:
Chop the chocolate into smaller pieces and cut the butter into pieces.
Shortly bring the cream to the boil, remove it from the heat and add the chocolate.
Whisk until the chocolate and cream are combined, add the pieces of butter one by one and whisk until smooth.
Pour the cream into the tarte shells and let the tartelettes cool in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
Tip: The mixture will get quite hard when cold, I suggest taking the tartelettes out of the fridge ca. 15-20 minutes before serving, so that the mixture can soften a bit.
Let me know how they turned out!
