Hi everyone and dear foodies around the world
I am a Zurich-based Food Gem Searcher, always on the lookout for delicious food and keen to experiment in the kitchen.
I try to cook and eat as (eco-)consciously as possible without giving up any food-group all together. I strongly encourage ways to re-use leftovers in order to prevent food waste and I use local and seasonal produce wherever possible. Having said that, my approach to food is pragmatic: be aware of what you cook and eat, find your balance and – at times – treat yourself and indulge.
On this blog you encounter homemade recipes directly from my kitchen and articles and stories around my favourite meals and restaurants in the places I live and have lived throughout the years.
There is nothing that makes me happier than good, soulful food – so get your palates cleansed, you’re knives sharpened and let’s enjoy some food together.
If you have any comments, tipps, tricks or suggestions, I am looking forward to hearing from you!
Your – consciously indulgent –
Mirjam
Thank you for dropping by my blog.
You’re recipes are so intriguing, and I can’t wait to try them! I love and respect how you cook with such a myriad of influences from Mexican to Indian to French to classic American! I’m a fan!
P.S. Thank you so much for liking my Perfect-for-a-Party Popcorn Chicken post! I hope I can inspire you to try out some flavors of the South!
